Instructions
- Cream together softened butter and cream cheese until smooth.
- Add sugar and beat until light and fluffy.
- Mix in egg and vanilla extract.
- Combine dry ingredients and gradually add to wet mixture.
- Chill dough for at least 30 minutes.
- Roll out dough and cut into desired shapes.
- Bake until edges are barely golden and centers look slightly underbaked.
- Cool completely before decorating.
