Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente
- In a large skillet, cook diced bacon until crispy
- Add onions and garlic, sauté until softened
- Pour in chicken broth and cream, bring to simmer
- Add cooked pasta and Parmesan cheese
- Season with red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper
- Let stand for a few minutes to thicken
- Garnish with parsley and serve

- For vegetarian version: Skip bacon, use vegetable broth, and add sautéed mushrooms with smoked paprika
