Description
A comforting creamy beef and garlic butter pasta that brings together rich flavors and satisfying textures, perfect for family gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 12 ounces fettuccine or pappardelle pasta
- 1 pound beef (e.g., flank steak or sirloin)
- 4 tablespoons garlic, minced
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup sour cream
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Fill a large pot with water and bring it to a boil. Add a pinch of salt and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve a cup of pasta water, then drain the rest.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant but not browned.
- Add the beef strips to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Reduce the heat to low and mix in the sour cream, stirring until well combined. Gradually add reserved pasta water to reach the desired creaminess.
- Toss the drained pasta into the skillet and stir to coat the pasta in the creamy sauce. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
Ensure the sour cream is at room temperature for better integration. Adjust cooking time for beef based on thickness.
