Description

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs, bone-in and skin-on
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Place the chicken thighs skin-side down and sear for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  5. Add the minced garlic to the same skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  6. Pour in the heavy cream, bringing it to a gentle simmer.
  7. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning, mixing until the cheese melts and the sauce is smooth.
  8. Return the chicken thighs to the skillet, skin-side up, and spoon some sauce over each piece.
  9. Cover and let simmer for 15-20 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  10. Remove from heat, and sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For variations, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or try different cheeses. Squeeze fresh lemon juice for a brighter sauce.
