Description

A comforting dish featuring tender steak and a rich, creamy garlic Parmesan sauce over pasta, perfect for family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless ribeye or sirloin steaks (about 6 oz each)
  • 12 oz dry pasta (fettuccine or spaghetti)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, finely minced
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup beef broth (optional)
  • ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • ¼ cup fresh chopped parsley or basil (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Boil the pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and save ½ cup of pasta water. Set aside.
  2. Season the steaks with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Cook the steak for 4–5 minutes per side. Rest, then slice thinly.
  4. In the same pan, melt butter and add garlic. Stir in the beef broth (if using) and let it reduce slightly.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream, then mix in the Parmesan cheese until melted. Season with additional salt and red pepper flakes if using.
  6. Toss the cooked pasta into the sauce, using reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce if needed. Add the sliced steak and stir gently to combine.
  7. Plate the pasta and top with sliced steak. Garnish with fresh herbs and extra grated Parmesan.

Notes

Use freshly grated Parmesan cheese for a smoother melting sauce. Adjust seasoning to your taste throughout cooking.
