  • 1 lb Italian sausage
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Grated Parmesan cheese for serving
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the rigatoni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the Italian sausage and cook until browned.
  3. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Stir in the marinara sauce and bring to a simmer.
  5. Reduce heat and add the heavy cream; mix well.
  6. Add the cooked rigatoni to the skillet, tossing to combine. Season with salt and pepper.
