Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz Fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb Steak (sirloin or ribeye recommended), sliced thinly
  • 4 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, shredded
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Parsley (optional, for garnish), fresh, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions in a pot of boiling, salted water.
  2. In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Add the thinly sliced steak, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add another 2 tablespoons of butter and the minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Whisk in the Parmesan cheese until smooth. Season with additional salt and black pepper to taste.
  5. Drain the fettuccine and add it to the sauce, tossing to coat evenly.
  6. Add the cooked steak back into the skillet and toss to combine. Serve warm, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

For a richer flavor, feel free to add more Parmesan cheese. Pair with garlic bread for a complete meal.
