- 12 oz Fettuccine pasta
- 1 lb Steak (sirloin or ribeye recommended), sliced thinly
- 4 tablespoons Butter
- 1 cup Heavy cream
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, shredded
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon Parsley (optional, for garnish), fresh, chopped
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions in a pot of boiling, salted water.
- In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Add the thinly sliced steak, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add another 2 tablespoons of butter and the minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Whisk in the Parmesan cheese until smooth. Season with additional salt and black pepper to taste.
- Drain the fettuccine and add it to the sauce, tossing to coat evenly.
- Add the cooked steak back into the skillet and toss to combine. Serve warm, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
For a richer flavor, feel free to add more Parmesan cheese. Pair with garlic bread for a complete meal.
