  • 8 oz Penne Pasta
  • 1 lb Steak (sirloin or ribeye)
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 4 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • Salt and Pepper (to taste)
  • Fresh Parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season the steak with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear the steak for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from skillet and let it rest before slicing.
  4. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Lower the heat and stir in the heavy cream, allowing it to simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Add the grated Parmesan cheese, mixing until melted and smooth.
  7. Toss the cooked penne pasta into the sauce.
  8. Slice the rested steak and place it on top of the pasta.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute half-and-half for heavy cream. To enhance the dish, consider adding vegetables like spinach or sun-dried tomatoes.
