- 2 ripe avocados
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey
- 2 tablespoons coconut milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- Dark chocolate shavings (for garnish)
- Fresh berries (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cut avocados in half, remove pits, and scoop the flesh into a food processor.
- Add cocoa powder, maple syrup, coconut milk, vanilla extract, and salt to the food processor.
- Process until completely smooth, stopping to scrape down the sides as needed.
- Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary.
- Spoon into serving dishes and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set.
- Before serving, garnish with dark chocolate shavings and fresh berries.
Notes
- Make sure to use ripe avocados for the creamiest texture.
- For a sweeter mousse, add more maple syrup or honey to taste.
