- 1 can (14.5 oz / 411 g) chicken broth
- 2 cans (4 oz / 113 g each) chopped green chiles
- 1 tsp (5 ml) salt
- 1 tsp (5 ml) ground cumin
- 1 tsp (5 ml) dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp (3 ml) ground black pepper
- 1/4 tsp (1 ml) cayenne pepper
- 1 cup (240 ml) plain yogurt
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) coconut cream
Instructions
- Collect all necessary items.
- Warm the olive oil in a big pot over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces, chopped onion, and garlic; cook while stirring until the chicken is cooked through and no longer pink, approximately 10 to 15 minutes.
- Mix in the beans, chicken broth, green chiles, salt, cumin, oregano, black pepper, and cayenne pepper; allow it to reach a boil. Lower the heat and let it simmer so the flavors meld together, which takes about 30 minutes.
- Take the chili off the heat; blend in the plain yogurt and coconut cream until well mixed.
