- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a shallow dish, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each chicken breast in the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring it’s fully coated.
- Place the coated chicken breasts in the air fryer basket and spray lightly with cooking spray.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through.
- Top each piece of chicken with marinara sauce and shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Return the chicken to the air fryer for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
