Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko preferred)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a shallow bowl, mix the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. In another bowl, beat the eggs.
  3. In a third bowl, place the breadcrumbs.
  4. Dredge each chicken tender in flour, then dip it in the beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
  5. Heat the vegetable oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat.
  6. Fry the chicken tenders for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Serve hot.

Notes

Let breaded tenders sit for a few minutes before frying for better texture. Fry in small batches to maintain oil temperature.
