  • 8 Corn tortillas
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1 cup Cornmeal
  • 2 Eggs, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons Lime juice
  • 2 cups Cabbage, shredded
  • 1 Avocado, sliced
  • 1/4 cup Cilantro, chopped
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cod by seasoning fillets with salt and pepper.
  2. Set up a breading station with a plate of flour, a bowl of beaten eggs, and a plate of a mixture of cornmeal and flour.
  3. Dredge the fish in flour, dip in eggs, then coat in the cornmeal mixture.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and fry the fish until golden and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  5. Warm the corn tortillas in another skillet.
  6. Assemble the tacos by placing the fried fish on the tortillas, adding shredded cabbage, sliced avocado, and cilantro.
  7. Drizzle lime juice over the top and serve immediately.
