- 4 large russet potatoes
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Wash and cut the potatoes into thin fries.
- In a large bowl, toss the fries with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper until well coated.
- Spread the fries in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese.
- Add parsley if desired and serve hot.
Notes
For extra crispiness, soak fries in cold water for 30 minutes before cooking. Always monitor closely while baking to prevent burning.
