A delightful vegan dish combining crispy tofu, creamy avocado, and fluffy rice, all infused with teriyaki flavor.
Ingredients

- 1 block firm tofu
- 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 avocado
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Press the firm tofu to remove excess moisture by wrapping it in a clean kitchen towel and placing a heavy object on top for 15-20 minutes.
- Cut the pressed tofu into cubes and marinate them in the teriyaki sauce for at least 30 minutes.
- In a skillet over medium heat, add sesame oil and cook the marinated tofu until crispy on all sides. Set aside.
- In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame seeds, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
- In a separate bowl, mash the avocado with a fork and mix it with the cooked rice.
- Using a mold or a cup, layer the avocado rice mixture with crispy tofu to create a stack.
- Drizzle the stacked ingredients with the soy sauce mixture.
- Serve the Crispy Teriyaki Tofu and Avocado Rice Stack immediately and enjoy!
Notes
Experiment with different marinades or toppings to customize the flavor. Ripe avocados enhance creaminess and texture.
