Description

A vibrant and flavorful crispy tofu stir fry packed with fresh vegetables and aromatic spices.


Ingredients

  • 14 oz firm tofu
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, carrots, snap peas)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Cooked rice or noodles for serving

Instructions

  1. Press the tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut it into cubes.
  2. In a bowl, toss the tofu with soy sauce and cornstarch until well coated.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat and add the tofu. Cook until crispy and golden on all sides, about 10 minutes.
  4. Add the mixed vegetables, garlic, and ginger to the pan. Stir-fry until the vegetables are tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Drizzle with sesame oil and top with green onions.
  6. Serve hot over cooked rice or noodles.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the tofu for 30 minutes before cooking. Cook in batches to maintain crispiness.
