Description

A comforting dish combining tender beef tips with savory egg noodles, slow-cooked to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds beef tips (or stew meat)
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 ounces egg noodles
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch (optional, for thickening)

Instructions

  1. In a Crockpot, combine beef tips, chopped onion, beef broth, soy sauce, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the beef is tender.
  3. About 30 minutes before serving, cook the egg noodles according to package instructions.
  4. If desired, mix cornstarch with a little water and stir into the Crockpot to thicken the gravy.
  5. Stir in sour cream before serving.
  6. Serve the beef tips over the cooked egg noodles.

Notes

For a thicker gravy, be sure to incorporate the cornstarch mixture before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley for added color.
