Ingredients

- 2 pounds beef tips (or stew meat)
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 12 ounces egg noodles
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
Instructions
- In a Crockpot, combine beef tips, chopped onion, beef broth, soy sauce, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the beef is tender.
- About 30 minutes before serving, cook the egg noodles according to package instructions.
- If desired, mix cornstarch with a little water and stir into the Crockpot to thicken the gravy.
- Stir in sour cream before serving.
- Serve the beef tips over the cooked egg noodles.
Notes
For a thicker gravy, be sure to incorporate the cornstarch mixture before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley for added color.
