A creamy and cheesy CrockPot Chicken Tortellini that brings warmth and comfort to the dinner table with minimal effort.

- 1 ½ lbs chicken breast (approximately 4 medium breasts)
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion granules
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning mix
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ¼ teaspoon red chili flakes
- 1 ½ cups chicken broth
- 1 lb cheese tortellini
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 2 cups baby spinach
- ⅓ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Spray the interior of your slow cooker with olive oil.
- Place the chicken breasts in a single layer in the slow cooker.
- Sprinkle garlic powder, onion granules, Italian seasoning, paprika, and red chili flakes over the chicken.
- Pour the marinara sauce over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 4 hours until the chicken is tender.
- Shred the chicken with two forks and mix it back into the sauce.
- Add the cheese tortellini, shredded mozzarella, and heavy cream to the pot.
- Stir well and cook on LOW for an additional 30 minutes.
- Add fresh baby spinach and cook for another 10 minutes until wilted.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and serve.
Notes
Feel free to experiment with different vegetables and spices to enhance flavor. Fresh herbs are recommended for best results.
