Ingredients

- 2 pounds of stew meat cut into bite-sized chunks
- 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 packet of onion soup mix
- 1/4 cup of beef broth
- 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season the stew meat with salt and pepper.
- (Optional) In a skillet over medium-high heat, sear the meat until browned on all sides.
- Place the meat into the slow cooker.
- In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, minced garlic, onion soup mix, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Pour the garlic butter mixture over the meat in the slow cooker, ensuring all pieces are coated.
- Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or until the meat is tender.
- Once cooked, stir the meat to coat with the sauce. Serve hot with your choice of sides.
Notes
For a thicker sauce, remove the lid for the last 30 minutes of cooking. Add vegetables for a heartier meal.
