Description
Tender and flavorful steak bites slow-cooked to perfection in a savory marinade.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 lbs (900g) sirloin steak – cut into bite-sized cubes
- ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
- ¼ cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 3 garlic cloves – minced
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons butter – cut into small pieces
- Fresh parsley – chopped, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, onion powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper.
- Place the steak cubes into the crockpot and pour the marinade over the steak, making sure each piece is well-coated.
- Dot the steak with small pieces of butter.
- Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours or on high for 2–3 hours, until the steak is tender and flavorful.
- Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired. Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or buttered noodles.
Notes
For added flavor, consider searing the steak cubes before adding them to the crockpot. You can also customize the marinade to suit your taste.
