Description

A quick and flavorful dish featuring tender beef and vibrant broccoli, perfect for weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound beef (sliced thinly)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon ginger (grated)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Add the sliced beef and let it marinate for about 15 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add garlic and ginger, stir-frying for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the marinated beef and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Stir in the broccoli florets and add a little water if needed to steam the broccoli.
  6. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the broccoli is tender.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then serve hot over rice.

Notes

For a saucier dish, adjust the amounts of soy sauce and oyster sauce. Slice the beef against the grain to ensure tenderness.
