- 1 pound beef (sliced thinly)
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 teaspoon ginger (grated)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Add the sliced beef and let it marinate for about 15 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add garlic and ginger, stir-frying for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the marinated beef and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the broccoli florets and add a little water if needed to steam the broccoli.
- Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the broccoli is tender.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, then serve hot over rice.
Notes
For a saucier dish, adjust the amounts of soy sauce and oyster sauce. Slice the beef against the grain to ensure tenderness.
