- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2–3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- ¼ teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cups beef broth
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Cook the egg noodles in salted boiling water according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef and chopped onions together. If necessary, drain excess fat.
- Add the minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and Italian seasoning to the skillet. Cook for about 1 minute.
- Sprinkle in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly to incorporate thoroughly.
- Gradually pour in the beef broth while stirring until the mixture is smooth. Simmer for 5-10 minutes, or until the gravy thickens to your liking.
- Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss everything together until the noodles are well coated with the beef mixture.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, and serve immediately.
