Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups egg noodles (not cooked)
  • 1 pound ground beef (lean)
  • 1 onion (cut up)
  • 23 garlic cloves (cut tiny)
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon Italian spices
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 cups beef stock
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil salted water and cook the egg noodles according to the package directions.
  2. In a large pan over high heat, place ground beef and chopped onion. Break the meat apart as it browns for about 10 minutes.
  3. Reduce heat and add minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and Italian spices. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Sprinkle flour into the pan and mix thoroughly. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  5. Slowly pour in the beef stock while stirring to create a creamy sauce. Cook until thickened, 5-10 minutes, adding more stock if needed.
  6. Mix in the cooked egg noodles, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.

Notes

For added depth, consider adding vegetables such as carrots or bell peppers. You can also use different types of pasta, or sprinkle grated cheese on top before serving.
