Description
A delightful and tender grilled flank steak marinated with soy sauce, garlic, and ginger, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb flank steak
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Green onions, for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, olive oil, garlic, brown sugar, black pepper, ginger, and sesame oil to create the marinade.
- Place the flank steak in a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over it. Seal the bag and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove the steak from the marinade and discard the marinade.
- Grill the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.
- Remove from the grill and let it rest for 5-10 minutes.
- Slice against the grain and garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
Marinate longer for deeper flavor. Letting the steak rest after grilling ensures juicy slices.
