Description

Light and fluffy egg white wraps that are gluten-free and low in calories, perfect for a healthy meal.


Ingredients

  • Egg whites from 4 eggs (approximately ½ cup)
  • 1/8 teaspoon xanthan gum

Instructions

  1. Heat a non-stick pan over low to medium heat and apply a thin layer of oil, cooking spray, or butter.
  2. Separate the egg whites from the yolks using your preferred method.
  3. Add the egg whites and xanthan gum to a blender and mix until smooth and fluffy.
  4. Slowly pour the egg whites into the heated pan in a circular motion.
  5. Use 2-3 tablespoons of batter for each wrap, adjusting based on pan size.
  6. Once bubbles form on the surface (around 2-3 minutes), carefully flip the wrap with a spatula.
  7. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes before removing from the pan.
  8. Repeat the process until you’ve created the desired number of wraps.

Notes

Experiment with seasonings or add finely chopped vegetables to the batter for added nutrition.
