Description

Ingredients

  • 2 pieces of filet mignon (approximately 200 g each)
  • 2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard
  • 200 ml of heavy cream
  • 5060 g of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 cloves of minced garlic
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
  2. Season each side of the filet mignon generously with salt and pepper.
  3. Place the filets in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side for medium doneness.
  4. Remove filets from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add 2 tablespoons of olive oil and minced garlic; sauté until fragrant.
  6. Add Dijon mustard and heavy cream, stirring continuously to combine.
  7. Gradually add grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and smooth.
  8. Return the filets to the skillet, coating them with the creamy sauce. Serve hot.

Notes

For best results, allow the filets to rest for a few minutes after cooking. This helps lock in the juices for maximum tenderness.
