Ingredients

  • 1 pound white fish fillets (cod or tilapia)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 small corn or flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish
  • Lime wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine olive oil, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Coat the fish fillets with the seasoning mixture.
  4. Place the fish on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes or until cooked through.
  5. Warm the tortillas in a skillet or microwave.
  6. Once the fish is done, flake it into pieces.
  7. Assemble the tacos by placing the fish in the tortillas and topping with shredded cabbage, avocado slices, salsa, and fresh cilantro.
  8. Serve with lime wedges and enjoy!

Notes

For an extra kick, add diced jalapeños or a drizzle of lime juice over the finished tacos.
