Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/3 cups milk (320 ml)
  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar (30 ml)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (120 g)
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar (25 g)
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) salt
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) vegetable oil
  • cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Collect all necessary items.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix the milk with vinegar and leave it for 5 minutes to create sour milk.
  3. In a large bowl, blend together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Beat the egg and vegetable oil into the sour milk.
  5. Combine the flour mixture with the milk blend and stir until the mixture is smooth.
  6. Warm up a big frying pan on medium heat and spray it with cooking spray. Pour 1/4 cup portions of batter onto the pan, cooking until bubbles appear and the sides are dry, about 2 to 3 minutes.
  7. Turn over using a spatula and cook until the other side is golden brown. Continue with the rest of the batter.

Notes

  • – Use fresh milk and vinegar for optimal results in creating sour milk.
  • – Ensure thorough blending of dry ingredients for even distribution in the batter.
  • – Adjust cooking time as necessary to achieve desired golden brown color on both sides of the pancake.
