- 2¼ teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1½ cups warm water
- 2 teaspoons salt
- ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil, plus more for topping

Instructions
- Combine warm water and yeast, let stand until foamy.
- Mix flour and salt in a large bowl or stand mixer.
- Add olive oil and yeast mixture to flour, mix until combined.
- Fold dough using the technique described to develop structure.
- Let rise until doubled in volume.
- Press into an oiled baking pan, creating dimples.
- Add toppings and additional olive oil.
- Bake in a preheated oven until golden brown.
Notes
- Can be made without a stand mixer using hand mixing.
