  • 1 cup white rice
  • 1 can French onion soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Swiss)
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat a drizzle of olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and sauté until translucent.
  3. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  4. Stir in the rice and cook for a minute.
  5. Pour in the French onion soup and beef broth, mixing well.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  7. Top with shredded cheese.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
