  • 1 cup cream cheese (softened)

  • 1 cup strawberries (hulled and sliced)
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Spread the cream cheese mixture on 4 slices of bread, then top with sliced strawberries.
  3. Place the other 4 slices of bread on top to make sandwiches.
  4. In a shallow dish, whisk together the egg and milk.
  5. In another dish, combine the flour and cinnamon.
  6. Dip each sandwich first in the egg mixture, then in the flour mixture to coat.
  7. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  8. Fry the sandwiches until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
