Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large saucepan, melt 1 cup of unsalted butter over low heat.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in 2 cups of granulated sugar.
- Add 1 cup of packed light brown sugar and mix until combined.
- Stir in 1 cup of creamy peanut butter until smooth.
- Let the mixture cool slightly.
- Beat in 4 large eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Add 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract and stir to combine.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 1 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder, 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center looks slightly underbaked.
- Remove the pan from the oven and allow the brownies to cool in the pan on a wire rack.
