Description

A delicious combination of tender steak bites and creamy Parmesan shells, perfect for cozy family dinners or special occasions.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 12 oz medium pasta shells
  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta al dente according to package directions. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water before draining.
  2. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Stir in the cream and simmer for 5 minutes. Gradually whisk in Parmesan until smooth. Season with nutmeg, salt, and pepper.
  4. Toss with cooked pasta, adding reserved water as needed for a perfect consistency.
  5. Pat the steak dry and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  6. Heat oil in a large skillet over high heat. Sear steak in batches for 2-3 minutes per side until browned.
  7. Reduce heat to medium, add butter and garlic to the skillet. Baste the steaks with melted butter for 1 minute.
  8. Remove from heat and stir in parsley. Serve steak bites over Parmesan shells, drizzled with pan juices.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate steak with olive oil, salt, and pepper before cooking. Adjust sauce consistency with reserved pasta water.
