Description
Succulent steak bites cooked in garlic butter, perfect for sharing as an appetizer or a main dish.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb steak (sirloin or tenderloin recommended)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cut the steak into bite-sized cubes. Season generously with salt and pepper.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter until it bubbles gently.
- Stir in the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Increase the heat to medium-high. Add the steak bites to the skillet in a single layer, cooking for 2-3 minutes without moving them to allow browning. Flip the pieces to sear all sides until cooked to your preferred doneness.
- Remove the skillet from heat. Toss the steak bites in the garlic butter. Transfer to a serving dish and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
Notes
Allow the cooked steak to rest for a few minutes after being removed from heat to retain juices. Serve with toothpicks for easy handling.
