- 1 pound sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- Optional: mushrooms, spinach, or asparagus
Instructions
- Cut sirloin into 1-inch cubes, season with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over high heat.
- Sear steak bites for 1-2 minutes per side until desired doneness.
- Remove steak from pan and set aside.
- Lower heat to medium, add butter and garlic to the pan.
- Once garlic is fragrant, add heavy cream and simmer until thickened.
- Return steak to the pan and coat with sauce.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- For medium-rare, cook until internal temperature reaches 130-135°F.
- Substitute butter with olive oil and cream with coconut cream for dairy-free version.
- Add vegetables after cooking the steak for a complete meal.
- Can be meal prepped, but make sauce fresh when serving.
- Store cooked steak bites for 3-4 days in refrigerator.
