- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet and cook chicken until golden and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side.
- Remove chicken and let rest. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic.
- Add heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, stirring until sauce thickens.
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Slice chicken and add to the sauce.
- Toss pasta with sauce and chicken. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- Use freshly grated Parmesan for best results
- You can substitute half-and-half for heavy cream for a lighter version
