- 1 package cheese tortellini
- 2 chicken breasts, cubed
- 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Cook the tortellini according to package directions in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
- Steam broccoli florets for 3-4 minutes until bright green and crisp-tender. Quickly plunge into ice water.
- Season chicken cubes with salt and pepper, then sear in olive oil over medium-high heat until golden brown.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Gradually whisk in heavy cream.
- Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan cheese until smooth; adjust with reserved pasta water as needed.
- Add cooked tortellini, chicken, and broccoli to the skillet; toss gently until well combined.
Notes
For an extra kick, consider adding freshly cracked black pepper or additional garlic. Use freshly grated Parmesan for a smoother sauce.
