Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups noodles or sliced potatoes
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped onions, garlic, and other seasonings

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. If using, add chopped onions and garlic and sauté until softened.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked ground beef, noodles (or potatoes), cream of mushroom soup, milk, and half of the cheese. Mix well.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased casserole dish.
  5. Top with the remaining cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-40 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For a richer taste, substitute evaporated milk for regular milk. Consider adding vegetables or spices to customize the dish further.
