- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 onion (diced)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- 2 cups green beans (cooked, fresh or canned, drained)
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella
- 1 cup crispy fried onions
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown ground beef with diced onion and minced garlic. Drain any excess grease. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- In a bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup and sour cream. Mix until smooth.
- In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, layer cooked beef mixture, green beans, soup mixture, and both cheeses. Repeat layers if using a deeper dish.
- Top with crispy fried onions in an even layer.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes, or until hot and bubbly with golden edges.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
For a healthier option, swap ground beef for ground turkey. You can also experiment with other vegetables to add variety.
