- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups egg noodles
- 1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and onion over medium heat until the meat is no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
- Cook the egg noodles according to package directions; drain.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked beef, cooked noodles, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and mixed vegetables.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch casserole dish.
- Sprinkle the top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is hot and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let sit for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, consider incorporating Worcestershire sauce or different types of cheese. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
