Description

A colorful blend of vibrant fruits and fluffy mini marshmallows, this Hawaiian fruit salad is a delightful treat perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (30-ounce) can fruit cocktail in juice
  • 1 (20-ounce) can pineapple chunks in juice
  • 1 (8-ounce) can mandarin orange slices
  • 1 (10-ounce) bag mini marshmallows
  • 1 (24-ounce) container of sour cream
  • 1 box orange-flavored gelatin

Instructions

  1. Pour all the fruit cocktail, pineapple chunks, and mandarin oranges into a colander. Allow the juices to drain for at least four hours.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sour cream with the orange-flavored gelatin. Stir until the mixture is fully blended.
  3. Add the drained fruit and mini marshmallows to the bowl. Gently stir to coat the fruits and marshmallows with the creamy mixture.
  4. Chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour; however, four hours or overnight improves flavor.
  5. Stir before serving. Serve chilled as a refreshing side dish or dessert.

Notes

For best flavor infusion, refrigerate overnight. Experiment with different fruit combinations for a unique twist.
