Ingredients

- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- 1/4 cup sugar (for coating)
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon (for coating)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- Add in the water and coconut oil, stirring until a dough forms.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Shape the dough into small bite-sized pieces and place them in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
- In a separate bowl, combine the remaining sugar and cinnamon.
- Once the churro bites are done, roll them in the sugar-cinnamon mixture.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
For a twist, consider stuffing the churro bites with chocolate or nut butter before shaping them.
