  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) salt
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Turn on the oven, setting it to 350°F, and apply non-stick spray to a muffin tin.
  2. In a medium-sized bowl, crush the ripe bananas.
  3. Mix in the maple syrup, vanilla extract, egg, vegetable oil, and Greek yogurt.
  4. In a separate, smaller bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt by whisking them together.
  5. Gently blend the dry mixture into the banana mixture until just integrated.
  6. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  7. Evenly distribute the batter into the 12 sections of the muffin tin.
