- 1/2 cup (120 ml) mashed ripe bananas (about 1 large banana)
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup (60 ml)
- 1/4 cup milk of choice, such as almond or dairy milk (60 ml)
- 1/4 cup Greek yogurt (60 g)
- 1/4 cup almond butter or peanut butter (64 g)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (5 ml)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt (1 g)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the chocolate protein powder and unsweetened cocoa powder.
- Add the mashed ripe bananas to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
- Pour in the honey or maple syrup and milk, stirring until the mixture is smooth.
- Add the almond butter or peanut butter, vanilla extract, and salt to the bowl and mix thoroughly.
- Transfer the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
- In a small bowl, whisk the Greek yogurt until smooth and creamy.
- Drop spoonfuls of Greek yogurt on top of the fudge batter in the pan.
- Use a knife to gently swirl the Greek yogurt into the fudge batter, creating a marbled effect.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly firm.
- Remove the pan from the oven and allow the fudge bars to cool completely in the pan.
- Once cooled, lift the bars out of the pan using the parchment paper.
- Cut the fudge into squares and serve or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Notes
- Thoroughly mix the almond butter or peanut butter into the batter for a smoother texture.
- Customize by adding chopped nuts or shredded coconut for extra crunch and flavor.
- Enhance the chocolate flavor by sprinkling sea salt on top of the fudge bars before baking.
