  • 1 cup chocolate protein powder (120 g)
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder (40 g)
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) mashed ripe bananas (about 1 large banana)
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup (60 ml)
  • 1/4 cup milk of choice, such as almond or dairy milk (60 ml)
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt (60 g)
  • 1/4 cup almond butter or peanut butter (64 g)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (5 ml)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (1 g)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chocolate protein powder and unsweetened cocoa powder.
  3. Add the mashed ripe bananas to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
  4. Pour in the honey or maple syrup and milk, stirring until the mixture is smooth.
  5. Add the almond butter or peanut butter, vanilla extract, and salt to the bowl and mix thoroughly.
  6. Transfer the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
  7. In a small bowl, whisk the Greek yogurt until smooth and creamy.
  8. Drop spoonfuls of Greek yogurt on top of the fudge batter in the pan.
  9. Use a knife to gently swirl the Greek yogurt into the fudge batter, creating a marbled effect.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly firm.
  11. Remove the pan from the oven and allow the fudge bars to cool completely in the pan.
  12. Once cooled, lift the bars out of the pan using the parchment paper.
  13. Cut the fudge into squares and serve or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Notes

  • Thoroughly mix the almond butter or peanut butter into the batter for a smoother texture.
  • Customize by adding chopped nuts or shredded coconut for extra crunch and flavor.
  • Enhance the chocolate flavor by sprinkling sea salt on top of the fudge bars before baking.
