  • 1 1/2 cups rolled oats (135 g)
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour (60 g)
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (90 g)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  3. In a large bowl, combine 1 cup of Greek yogurt and 1/2 cup of honey or maple syrup.
  4. Add 1 large egg and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, then mix until smooth.
  5. Stir in the mashed bananas until well combined.
  6. In another bowl, mix 1 1/2 cups of rolled oats, 1/2 cup of whole wheat flour, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt.
  7. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  8. Fold in 1/2 cup of chocolate chips.
  9. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
