Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, cream together Greek yogurt, butter, and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Gradually add flour mixture to wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Using a tablespoon, drop dough onto prepared baking sheet, spacing cookies about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes until edges are lightly golden but centers still appear soft.
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- For best results, use full-fat Greek yogurt for moisture and richness.
- Don’t overmix the dough to keep cookies tender.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
