  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (100 g)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (50 g)
  • 1 large egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the whole wheat flour, baking soda, salt, and unsweetened cocoa powder.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Stir in the dark chocolate chips.
  7. Drop tablespoon-sized scoops of the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
