- 1 box (18.25 oz) yellow cake mix
- 1 large egg
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups chocolate toffee bits (such as Heath Bar bits)
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the cake mix, melted butter, and egg. Stir until a thick dough forms.
- Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. Press the dough evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
- Sprinkle the toffee bits evenly over the dough.
- Drizzle the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the toffee bits.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.
- Allow the bars to cool completely before cutting them into squares.
Notes
