- 4 cups low-sodium chicken broth
- 8 oz cream cheese, cubed
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Olive oil, for cooking
- Sour cream, for serving
- Fresh cilantro, for garnish
- Lime wedges, for serving
- Tortilla chips, for serving
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add ground turkey or chicken, browning until golden.
- Sprinkle in taco seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, salt, and pepper, stirring to coat the meat.
- Pour in diced tomatoes, black beans, and chicken broth, stirring to combine.
- Let the mixture simmer, allowing flavors to meld.
- Add cubed cream cheese and stir continuously until melted and creamy.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Serve in bowls, garnished with sour cream, cilantro, and lime juice.
- Enjoy with tortilla chips on the side.
