- 1/2 cup (120 ml) (120 milliliters) beef broth
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) (15 milliliters) soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) (15 milliliters) Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) (30 grams) cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) (30 milliliters) water
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) (8 grams) chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add beef pieces to the skillet and brown on all sides.
- Transfer the browned beef to the slow cooker.
- In the same skillet, add unsalted butter and let it melt.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour garlic butter over the beef in the slow cooker.
- Season the beef with salt, black pepper, dried thyme, and dried rosemary.
- Add beef broth, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce to the slow cooker.
- Stir to combine all ingredients in the slow cooker.
- Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until beef is tender.
- In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with water until smooth.
- Pour the cornstarch mixture into the slow cooker and stir to combine.
