  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) (5 grams) dried rosemary
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) (120 milliliters) beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) (15 milliliters) soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) (15 milliliters) Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) (30 grams) cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) (30 milliliters) water
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) (8 grams) chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add beef pieces to the skillet and brown on all sides.
  3. Transfer the browned beef to the slow cooker.
  4. In the same skillet, add unsalted butter and let it melt.
  5. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  6. Pour garlic butter over the beef in the slow cooker.
  7. Season the beef with salt, black pepper, dried thyme, and dried rosemary.
  8. Add beef broth, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce to the slow cooker.
  9. Stir to combine all ingredients in the slow cooker.

  11. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with water until smooth.
